Shade is hand dyed dusty lavender to mossy green and is covered with the most incredible victorian era ribbon flowers taken off an old pelmet.

Antique gold bullion fringe is interspersed with hand beaded fringe.------------------------Cream-colored antique silk piano shawl with pastel embroidery covers this shade.

Marty is one of the best bargain hunters I know and after reading today’s post, I think I need to start visiting the thrift stores more often.I adore party planning, holiday celebrations, and all things crafty!I have so many blogging friends that have rehabbed some amazing pieces of furniture in the past with specialized paint and I’ve always wanted to try.I love the warmth and style this lamp has added to my craft room. You may also want to try out the creme waxes for different looks that are equally as beautiful. I would have done a cartwheel if I didn’t think I’d end up in the ER!
